Rohtang Pass permit: official site, fees and rules

  1. Tourist vehicles going up to Rohtang Pass need a permit from the Kullu district site: ₹500 per vehicle. Every vehicle crossing Gulaba bridge also pays a congestion charge for the day (₹50 for cars, jeeps and MUVs; ₹100 for buses and heavy vehicles).
  2. Permits open twice a day, at 10:00 and at 16:00 (400 petrol and 200 diesel vehicles each time). You can book only for the next 2 days, and one vehicle gets at most 3 permits a week (Tuesday to Monday).
  3. Carry the printout, a valid ID and a valid PUC certificate. The vehicle must be no more than 10 years old, and its details must match its papers, or it is stopped at the barrier.
  4. The fee is not refunded once paid. Hamta Pass has its own permit on the same site.

रोहतांग पास परमिट: ज़रूरी जानकारी

  1. रोहतांग पास तक जाने वाले पर्यटक वाहनों को कुल्लू ज़िले की साइट से परमिट चाहिए: ₹500 प्रति वाहन। गुलाबा पुल पार करने वाला हर वाहन उस दिन का कंजेशन शुल्क भी देता है (कार, जीप और MUV ₹50; बस और भारी वाहन ₹100)।
  2. परमिट दिन में दो बार खुलते हैं, 10:00 और 16:00 बजे (हर बार 400 पेट्रोल और 200 डीज़ल वाहन)। बुकिंग सिर्फ़ अगले 2 दिनों के लिए होती है, और एक वाहन को हफ़्ते में (मंगलवार से सोमवार) ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा 3 परमिट मिलते हैं।
  3. प्रिंटआउट, वैध ID और वैध PUC सर्टिफ़िकेट साथ रखें। वाहन 10 साल से पुराना न हो, और उसका ब्योरा कागज़ों से मेल खाए, वरना बैरियर पर रोक दिया जाता है।
  4. एक बार दिया शुल्क वापस नहीं होता। हामटा पास का अलग परमिट इसी साइट पर है।
