Amarnath Yatra: registration, official sites and rules

Registration is compulsory, online or at listed PNB, SBI, J&K Bank and Yes Bank branches. The permit fixes your route (Baltal or Pahalgam) and date.
A Compulsory Health Certificate from an authorised doctor is needed. Age 13 to 70 only; women more than 6 weeks pregnant cannot go.
The yatra runs for a few weeks in July–August (2026: 3 July to 28 August). 2027 dates are not announced yet; registration usually opens in April.
Collect your RFID card in Jammu & Kashmir before the yatra. Book helicopters only through the Shrine Board; police have warned about fake helicopter sites.

रजिस्ट्रेशन ज़रूरी है, ऑनलाइन या तय PNB, SBI, J&K बैंक और यस बैंक शाखाओं में। परमिट में रास्ता (बालटाल या पहलगाम) और तारीख़ तय होती है।
अधिकृत डॉक्टर का अनिवार्य हेल्थ सर्टिफ़िकेट चाहिए। उम्र 13 से 70; 6 हफ़्ते से ज़्यादा गर्भवती महिलाएँ नहीं जा सकतीं।
यात्रा जुलाई–अगस्त में कुछ हफ़्ते चलती है (2026: 3 जुलाई से 28 अगस्त)। 2027 की तारीख़ें अभी घोषित नहीं; रजिस्ट्रेशन आमतौर पर अप्रैल में खुलता है।
यात्रा से पहले जम्मू-कश्मीर में RFID कार्ड लें। हेलीकॉप्टर सिर्फ़ श्राइन बोर्ड से बुक करें; पुलिस ने नकली साइटों की चेतावनी दी है।
