Kailash Mansarovar Yatra: registration, official sites and rules

  1. Apply online on the Ministry of External Affairs site; pilgrims are chosen by a computerised draw.
  2. Only Indian citizens with an Indian passport, aged 18 to 70, with BMI 27 or less. Medical tests in Delhi decide if you can go.
  3. The yatra runs in June–August through Lipulekh (Uttarakhand) or Nathu La (Sikkim) and takes about 3–4 weeks. 2027 dates are not announced yet; applications usually open in April–May.

  1. विदेश मंत्रालय की साइट पर ऑनलाइन आवेदन करें; यात्री कंप्यूटर ड्रॉ से चुने जाते हैं।
  2. सिर्फ़ भारतीय पासपोर्ट वाले भारतीय नागरिक, उम्र 18 से 70, BMI 27 या कम। दिल्ली में मेडिकल जाँच से तय होता है कि जा सकते हैं या नहीं।
  3. यात्रा जून–अगस्त में लिपुलेख (उत्तराखंड) या नाथू ला (सिक्किम) से होती है, लगभग 3–4 हफ़्ते। 2027 की तारीख़ें अभी घोषित नहीं; आवेदन आमतौर पर अप्रैल–मई में खुलते हैं।
